COR-TEN Steel
Sea storage containers offer exceptional load capacity, and are sealed against dust and water. Their corrosion-resistant steel sheet cladding ensures safe warehouse storage.
Typically, the short side of the sea container features double-wing doors that seal tightly and are equipped with lock rods for secure closure.

Max. Eight Units
A maximum of eight containers can be stacked, meaning up to 2.4-ton containers can be placed on top of each other.
The connection between stacked containers is ensured solely by the four corner fittings per container. All vertical forces are transferred through these fittings to the front and rear vertical support posts. In a stacked container system, the trapezoidal sheet cladding on the side walls is not a load-bearing element.

ISO 6346 Standard
The material of sea containers is weather-resistant (corrosion-resistant) COR-TEN steel (BS EN 10025–5:2004).
The sea storage containers distributed by Konténer Hungária Kft. fully comply with the ISO 6346 standard, which defines container sizes and uses the imperial system for measurement (1 foot = 12 inches = 0.3048 meters).
The ISO corners of the sea containers are made of a special alloy that retains its strength even at -40°C. The castings are manufactured and tested in accordance with ISO 1161 and ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) specifications.
